So it's been over a year since my last, and first post. Since then I seem to have lost a healthy dose of the idealism I used to possess. Don't get me wrong, things could be worse. But they could be a hell of a lot better too. 
On a completely related side note, being a college graduate is the worst. In the year and half since I have graduated college, I have had zero legitimate job offers and have realized that a B.A in Journalism is about as useful as a GED. With no contacts and no experience, my chances of finding a career are right up there with the chances of snow falling in Hell. 
That might sound like complaining to some people, and that's because it is. It's completely insane that I spent seven years and 70,000 bucks for a degree that means squat. 
Well, I suppose that's enough of my whining for one day. Until next time....
